Concrete Pumps
A concrete pump moves poured concrete from
the concrete lorries to the required location. The
concrete can be poured from the truck’s chute
into the pump’s hopper, and then pumped through
pipes and poured into the necessary place.

The two main type of pumps are:
Ground line pumps with pipes that are laid along the ground, and can be laid through buildings, up or down stairs and ramps and around any other obstacles.
Boom pumps raise the pipeline with a hydraulic arm that can be lifted up to and over buildings and obstacles to pour the concrete from above using an extendable boom arm. If you are less experienced in choosing the pumps you need, The Concrete People will provide professional advice and guidance to ensure the pumps you select are able to meet your needs and quantity of concrete. Whether you need over the phone assistance or on site consultation, our team are on hand to make the process of concrete pumping as smooth as possible.
